4GB MP3 player for £17.99 all-in

Hi!
I've got Windows 98SE so this will only work with the CD driver disk mentioned in the online manual to install the W98 driver for the player.
This looks a real bargain but I'm struggling to find out from Play.com or the manufacturers whether player still actually comes with this disk or not.
Could anyone whose recently bought one please kindly let me know.
Thanks very much.0 -
I don't think it comes with a CD, but you can download the Windows 98 driver from the support website, https://www.sosmp3.com. Hope this helps!0

Unfortunately, despite downloading & installing the files claiming to be the Windows 98 driver, when I plug in the MP3 player it prompts me to install a driver & won't recognise anything in any of the folders it's just set up (I even checked the other folders not named Windows98Drv & the original zip file!).
I've emailed the support chap & hopefully he'll put the right driver online within a day or two.
Thanks anyway for your help.

1) After much toing & froing with the support guy, I eventually tried out all the MP3 drivers they had on their site unsuccessfully. I gave up with them & Googled to find a working driver on this site:
http://www.technical-assistance.co.uk/kb/win98se-usb-mass-storage-drivers.php
(there's a different one for W98 & W98SE here if you need them ).
The player is now working - horray! :j
2) I have spotted that it doesn't play tracks in the right order (ie Windows Explorer shows everything alphabetically but the order on the player is based on system date & where it's actually stored so it's all a bit random...). If you want to play your album tracks in the right sequence you need to search for a basic Disk Sort utility as the manufacturers don't provide this fix.
Once I've got around to finding one that works I'll post the URL here for anyone else that needs it.
All the best.
