Are you hoping the debt will go away or do you want to sort it out?

Your best bet is to give the bank details of your new address and sort your account out. It will not go away if you ignore it, it will come back and bite you later.
    :p
  • I presume you want to sort things out or you wouldn't have posted.

You need to take the bull by the horns and get hold of the bank and give them you new details. Find out how big the problem is and go from there.

I get the feeling the OP would like it to go away or he would have told the bank where he is by now.

Honestly, you need to speak to your Bank ASAP.

Either go in to see them (it may be easier to speak to someone face to face?) or at least phone them and give them your new address, and ask for your statments from the past year or so.

Then you need to be able to have an "action plan"... but that will come when you know whats going on with your account.

The more you bury your head, the worse it will get, and the less "help" you are likely to get from your bank.

I would strongly recommend going in to see someone.
