i just rang, it rang and rang but then someone answered, they do try to get you to have the 3 issues for £1 after the free issue though

Just had an email from them. Call 0845 357 3004 and quote code 553k, and you'll get a free compact issue (for first 4000 callers)

They do ask you if you want to get a further 3 issues for £1, but there's no obligation.
