PPI Reclaim Question

Hope that someone can help. A couple of years ago we took out a secured loan, which included PPI, which we are trying to reclaim. We have subsequently repaid the loan company back by adding to our mortgage. When I wrote to the broker (Freedom Finance) their reply was, that they were not covered by the FSO or FISA, and as far as they are concerned that was the end of the matter, can anyone offer me any advice on the best way to move forward on this matter.

    when did you take the loan out?
    Who arranged it for you?
    how much did you borrow?
    Who is the lender?

    Once armed with this information I can advise.
    I am a former Broker, former IFA and former compliance officer, for my sins.

    Hi & thanks for reply

    Loan was taken out in January 2005

    Freedom finance were the brokers

    £18800 was the loan amount

    £4888 was the PPI

    £23688 Total for loan & PPI

    Paragon were the lenders

    Loan repaid in November 2005 £22,658.19

    Hope you can help me with this & once again thanks
