The first time we said hello, was the first time we said goodbye. As the angels took your tiny hand and flew you to the sky-you forever left us breathless. RIP my beautiful granddaughter :(

Debt free ? Coincidentally I was declared bankrupt today and from what I've been told I'll have to sell my house to pay the debts or will have a payment order for about 3 years to pay my creditors. What's changed ? still being chased for money !!!

did you take professional advice before going bankrupt? you didn't honestly think you could go bankrupt, keep your house and have all the associated debt wiped out?

I would have thought that would be item one on the information list - your house would be repossessed / sold for any equity.

You will only get an IPA if you have a substantial excess of cash at the end of the month (ISTR something like at least £100 spare and then you lose 50% of the excess) I'm sure one of the experts will be along to elaborate shortly.

well Dave my comments were aimed at those that seemed it was cause for celebration at being 'debt free' post bankruptcy. And also I didn't 'go' Bankrupt I was made Bankrupt by a creditor. What I said about losing the house or having a payment order was a statement saying that the debt's are still there and still have to be paid, so in other words YOU AREN'T DEBT FREE !!!!
