Charged too much Tax!

Hello,
I hope that someone can help me because I've been a bit of an idiot. I haven't been checking the level of tax i was being charged for my job as when i started I was working 2 jobs but i have just realised that my tax has remained at the 22% level even though i stopped working 2 jobs after christmas.
Do i need anything to claim this money back and how do i go about claiming this money back?

You need to write to your tax office explaining that the main job has finished and asking them to allocate your personal allwoance to your second job. Enclose your P45 from the job you left and your P60 from your second job. They will make a refund to you and adjust your code in your remaining job so that you have a reduction in tax payable.
