HI
I have just admitted to myself that I can no longer move my debts around as all I am doing is increasing the amount owed.
I have CC debts of 26,000 which have escalated during the last three years where I have been off sick.
I still have a salary and some sickness benefit but it does not cover the minimum payments.
I have spoken to a debt mangement agency but do not want to pay them such a high poptionm of what I can afford.
I am planning to write letters to the card companies myself and would really appreciate some help and advise.
I have found the SOA calculator and will add all my debts up.
Our house is in my husbands name not mine, does htis make a difference.

Hi taradog,
If you are looking for free advice, you could try using our online advice facility Debt Remedy. Debt Remedy will allow you to input all your personal income and expenditure, as well as the details of your debts, before giving you the options you have regarding your situation.
It might be worth putting your SOA on here too to see if the good folk on here can have a look at your situation.
