Pay the depts or save? Which is best to get new mortgage?

Hi,
I have a couple of other posts on here asking for advice on mortgages and choosing estate agents. We have found a property to buy, have an offer accepted, and mine is on the market to sell from today.
We would be getting a new joint mortgage for the property which i've offered £207,000. We will have a £20,000 deposit. We have no outstanding loans or anything, and my salary is £44,000 and my partner's £23,000. The only dept we have is £7,000 on a 0% credit card.
We have no savings at the moment, so my question is:
Should I keep paying off the 0% credit card, or save money from now on so that we have some money available if needed for the move. What will be better for a mortgage offer etc...????

:T If you don't have anything sensible to say, don't say it! :T

If its on 0% then pay it off asap as a lot of the 0% deals are dissapering due to the credit crunch.0
