I dont go out but I do visit archives & record offices so I have to pay parking & the occasional photocopy & then theres petrol. This time of year I buy a few plants & seeds (Poundland)

It works out to about £5 a week. Dont bother with clothes or stuff.

[(wendybird - your hubby will struggle on £300 a month 'spends' ?!! - they must be some good nights out!!!!!!!!!)[/quote]

I know - to be fair we have a good group of friends but we all live in diff. areas - so we tend to hang out in central London 2-3 a week after work and on weekends. He is very generous and always gets more than his fair share of rounds in the pub and often stays for dinner. Plus there is his concert habit.... he just can't stand to miss out!

I, on the other hand, seem to spend more and more time on the computer reading MSE... :p

    hi all

we have about £500 spends for 2 of us for the month, this includes shopping, household needs any beer, cigs, work spends, birthdays, clothes, trasport to work

we only go out maybe once every few months,

i find a better way to stop hubby spending is get him a hobby, where he will be happy staying in to do, or going somewhere free to do it

I understand the concepts of cooking and cleaning
........ I Just dont understand how they apply to me!
