Tesco - 4 In 1 Remote Control £2.37!!!!!

in my local tesco (oxford) they had RCX4 4-way universal remote control for just £2.37.

they had loads left, so i picked up 2.

and they work really well.

If you're near an Aldi check them out too as Thursday 1st September's weekly specials included an 8-in-1 remote control with LCD panel and batteries for £4.99. Got a couple to try - one for bedroom tv/vcr/dvd/freeview/musiccentre and one for a friend. It probably comes with a 3 year warranty too - and at the very least a 1yr satisfaction guarantee from Aldi.

I've just been up to the Exeter Digby store and they only had more expensive universal remotes on display. I asked at customer services and she looked it up (I said I knew it was 4 in 1 and that I thought the price was £2.47) and said that they're not stocking it in that store. She didn't give any reason for this, but maybe it's a regional thing.

You couldn't pick one up for me?
There is no Aldi close to me and I could do with one of these!
