Unlock your Vodafone mob - FREE !!!

If you have a Vodafone Mobile that is locked, vodafone will now unlock them for free.
call vodafone customer services on 191.
Contract phones of any age, even expired contract ones. They will also unlock contract phones recently taken out within 12 months.
PAYG phones have to be at least 12 months old.

They just need your IMEI number (type *#06# on the handset). They will then tell you the unlock code to unrestrict the handset and instructions.

Or if you dont want to telephone them, look here

Thanks. I've just contacted them. Would be really handy to switch networks at the moment as their PAYG is just too expensive now compared to other networks.

I actually did this the other day in store! Thought I would have to pay for it and was pleasantly surprised when I didn't.

I've got a K800i that I had for six months, but Vodafone never actually took a record that I got a new phone so I got another phone after that six months but want to unlock that as well but not sure they'll let me seeing as they never knew I had it?!
