Fry onions and garlic until soft, add tin of chopped tomatoes, optional oxo cube and tsp of sugar.0

For meatballs I make a Goulash Sauce just to ring the changes from Ragu Style Sauce.
1 tbsp Paprika
1 tbsp Flour
1 Onion chopped
1 Garlic clove Crushed
2lb Tomatoes peeled and chopped or 2 400g tins of Chopped Tomatoes
100ml Creme Fraiche or sieved HM Yoghurt
1 tbsp Olive Oil
1/2 Red Pepper finely chopped
Heat the oil and cook onion and pepper for about 5 mins. Add garlic and cook for a further minute. Stir in paprika and flour, add tomatoes, season and simmer, stirring until cooked though and thickened.
Add meatballs to heat through and swirl in Yoghurt/Creme Fraiche to serve. HTHLife's a beach! Take your shoes off and feel the sand between your toes.0 -

As above without the oxo cube; but with a tsp sugar, parsley, bazil and oregano. Dried herbs work just fine.£2 Coins Savings Club 2012 is £4.............................NCFC member No: 00005.........
