Tesco Offers Expire at Till

Greetings One and All
I have a littlle dilema and want ed other MSE'ers to give thier opinion.
While shopping in the store late at night (i work weird shifts) i picked up a couple of items which wre on offer. Cider at 3 for £4:beer: and some packet sauces which were BOGOF. While waiting at the till the offer ran out. The POS lablel said offer end 22April. I brought this up with staff at the time but Customer services go home at 22:00. I got to pay for my items after a wait at the till at 00:05
Is it worth pushing for a refund of double the difference or just let it go the amount only comes to a couple of quid.
