What if anything can i do

I have got myself into a complete mess with with lloyds tsb i had a payment plan of £50.00 a month and have missed 2 payments 1 in jan and 1 in march i have now had a letter from them stating i have a overdraft which is not authed and interest and charges are being applied daily so my account has gone from being £1062 over drawn to £1426.92 but there is more charges going on on 1st of may so it will go up to £1839.95p they have agreed to take £60 a months but £37 is going on interest so i am only paying £21 a month.

I really have no idea where to go I feel a head in sand coming my way.this is such a mess and it is all my fault should i tell my partner?

I am not saying it will happen in your case ,but people have had the accounts raided by the bank to pay the debt . Have you another account with a completely separate bank ?

If you are struggling like that have you considered offering them smaller payments or is this just a temporary blip on your finances?

    Hi Maka,
Please discuss it with your partner, it's better than them 'finding out' as my DH did! Also the two of you will be better at sorting it out and reduce the HUGE amount of stress that you are currently carrying on your shoulders.
Could you make an appointment at the bank together to show that you are commited to sorting this problem out and try to come to an agreement that suits both them and yourself without dragging on for years.

If they are being very unhelpful please speak to CCCs for professional advice

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
