I don't particularly want to Celebrate it, (think St Patricks day is pretty vulgar these days), but I do want to Mark it in some small way.
But how does a logo on a web-site do that?
The same way that having snow and holly marks Christmas. It just seems a bit, well, dull.
What next, St George's day cards?
If you want to mark it, then do so. Where I work, there is a St George's Day theme in the canteen (Roast beef!), and one whole department have all come in wearing red and white. Good luck to them. I will be going to an alternative celebration of St George's day at the Barbican later ("Still looking for a New England") featuring English literature and music. It's still OK to be English, and there are things to be proud of, but that doesn't have to mean flag-waving or dressing up.Not even wrong0 -
St. George is the patron saint of Aragon, Canada, Catalonia, China, Ethiopia, Georgia, Greece, Montenegro, Palestine, Portugal, Russia, and Serbia.
So presumably he is Anti those places too.
St. Patrick's day is the National Holiday of Ireland in addition to being the Patron Saints day, so it's unfair to compare the two.0 -

I would say he is no more anti-English than he is anti-Welsh for doing nothing to the site on St David's DayGwlad heb iaith, gwlad heb galon0 -
