First CapQuest, now SRJ for the same debt!

Help! My OH was contacted by CapQuest regarding a debt that wasn't his. An ex girlfriend had opened a joint account in her and his names which he knew nothing about.
We did the letters & £1 postal order to CapQuest and they couldn't provide any contract, finally giving in and admitting they couldn't chase the debt.
Now he has started getting calls from a company called SRJ chasing the same debt!!!
Do we have to keep going through this time after time...???!!! :mad:

In a word , YES . I suggest you change your phone number . As a CCA was not produced last time the account is still in dispute . Report the companies to TS . Afraid its all you can do .0
