Hi Andy,
Lots of Old Stylers make their own versions of things but you'd need to search the items individually to see what they thought of the results. Try these threads:
Homemade Baked Beans?
HM digestive biscuits
and last but certainly not least  Homemade hobnobs?
Pink

I made Custard Creams once, following the recipe in Nigella Lawson's Feast (this blog has a bit of detail on them: http://sarah-cooks.blogspot.com/2005/02/custard-cream-hearts.html). They turned out nicer than bought biscuits - more buttery and crumbly, but a bit too much hassle for an everyday biscuit; I prefer cookies!2015 comp wins - £370.25
Recent wins: gym class, baby stuff
Thanks to everyone who posts freebies and comps! :j0 -
