help! want default removed but bank ignoring me
Hi all, hope you can help:
I first sent a letter to my loan provider to ask them to remove default from my credit file as they had made mistakes causing the default (long story). They replied about 2 months later saying they accept no responsibility for the default and would not remove it. They could also not provide me with a copy of the original default. I replied saying that as they could not provide original copy of the default then it should be removed and also that they have no right to carry on using my data (giving it to c.r.a) as when the agreement ended so did my permission to use personal data. I also sent them a Statutory Notice pursuant to Sections 10 and 12 on 27th march. They have not replied, where do i go from here? Court action?
Would appreciate any advice. thanks
