Botox - how long before it works

I've heard Botox doesn't take effect straight away. Is this right? How long was it before yours took effect?

looking to get Botox done myself so i was wondering how you had got on - is there any difference round the eyes yet ?
i thought it was a bit costly to have to get done every few months - but i saw someone on breakfast tv and he said you only need it done 4 times and then it lasts forever - do you know if this is true and wouldnt every one get it if it was that simple ?
When you are quoted one area to be done what does this cover - one frown line between the eyebrows is a lot smaller than lines from nose to mouth ( and as you ve got two of those are these counted as two areas ? you could hardly get just one side done).
I also wanted those lines from corners of mouth going down done I think they make you look like you r frowning.
I saw someone put an message about transformers a clinic offering 1/2 price eg one area for £99 instead of £200 but that ran out end of Feb.
Dont know wether to wait for offer to come round again ( by that time i may have gone beyond the point of no return).
Can I ask how much it cost you and were you went - if you dont want the world to know perhaps you could send a pm i would be very grateful ?
I didnt really want to go to a clinic for consultation before i got some info. in case i couldnt escape.
Hope you r looking good !0 -
I know loads of people who have had botox – some get it regularly and others like me only a week or so before a special occasion. It seems to work best on your forehead and on the two vertical lines some people have at the top of the nose. They can sometimes be paralyzed altogether. Crows feet will still be visible but greatly reduced because they do not want you not to be able to close your eyes.0

Botox cost me £275 for one area with £50 for each additional area so it cost me £375 for crows feet, frown and above lip.The filler for my lip lines cost £250.
That seems a bit too much
My wife had her crows feet, frown area and lips done for £450! It was done by a proper plastic surgeon too and in this country!0 -
£99 per area at the moment if you book with Melior clinic at the Ideal Home exhibition- just got my frown and forehead done for £198...Done by a proper doctor too...0

That is very expensive, my crows feet cost £90 and I get it done at a beauty place in Watford by a doctor.
It takes upto 7 days to take full effect, and when I smile there is absolutly no crinkeling of the skin around my eyes, it's amazing and would reccommend it to anyone!!!!
That remimnds me - it's about time I had it done again!!!0
