Improved Virgin 0% offer

Having read thru some posts I realised that my od was in fact a DEBT that I was choosing to ignore rather than deal with.
Have managed to clear all credit cards but knew still some time on Virgin 0% so thought I will clear od with that - rang to check how long offered had left (july 08). Without asking, they offered me extended 0% until Jan 09 but had to increase from £1400 requested to £2000 - yes I know they got bigger fee (3% of total bt) but still chuffed that I got extension. Bet if I had asked for £1500 they would have offered extension!
Anyway now I have a choice, either -
a) pay off £600 instantly to bring it back to original
or
b) Use extra £600 to pay rates (live in NI so no council tax here) by paying it by 07 May it is £680.25 rather than £708.59 (£28 less = difference in cost of transfer from Virgin) Did ask last year for DDM to be set up but council lost it!!!! Too late to set it up for this year - ggggrrrrrrrrr
I have £200 saved for this and was putting pressure on OH to help find the rest (he could realistically come up with £300 I think)
Having typed, seems like a no brainer - but OP opinions welcome
Delighted to get OD cleared as the charges although not huge are better in my pocket than First Direct!

LBM Feb 2010 £62,700 Total Debt Jan 11 [STRIKE]£49,403.84[/STRIKE] £47,530.32.

Challenge = Debt at 31/01/12 = £25k. 2011 Payments = £1,944.19/£24,403.84
There is no point in negative thought, it takes up time and energy which could be used in a positive, happy way!
