It looked the same as a normal pound coin.... it felt the same as a normal pound coin.... so how the hell she spotted the picture was slightly different I'll never know... my local shop has one of those self service kiosk things so might stick it in there and buy something yummy. lol

IA just what I was going to say, stick it in a vending machine.

Our one at work takes any of them and if you put it in and then press refund before selecting something it will usually give you back the money in change.

Hello all - today is a huge lightbulb day for me.
After having my first LB moment in 2006 - things have got worse and worse debt-wise.
I had a nervous breakdown last year and well, today, is the first day my depression has cleared. It's taken a while coming I can tell you! It's sunny outside and I'm going to write me a debt management plan later and write down all the things I want to do but haven't had the chance to.
I also thought I'd take advantage of feeling brave and ring the CCCCS peeps while I was at it..(the real ones I mean and not the other bunch of shysters)

I hope you all have a wonderful day today - I think I will as I've started to get my life back. baby steps, baby steps
    Love to you all

I have checked my bank account and that's about it. I've no money to put on my debts today rather sadly, but tomorrow I get paid from work so I should be able to pay another few quid off my cc! I can't wait. JxGood luck everyone!
