The other good thing about reiki training is that it is quite reasonably priced - you can prob find the first stage for under £100......certainly enough to get you started on family/friends/pets......then if you get on ok, you can do the second and third parts!

thats good then, im sure i'll be able to get together 100 quid, will do a search tomorrow night on it...while im looking on the libary caterlogue do you know any good books about reiki?:p

I was always told not to read too much about it, otherwise you let the books dictate what you feel about it, rather than allow yourself to be guided by your own instincts and abilities (if that doesn't sound too "fluffy"!!)

When you look for a course, trust your instincts and if there is something you don't like, even if you can't put your finger on it, then don't go with that person.......your gut feeling is usually right for this type of thing.

I got loads of info from the learning shop at the library about who did training in my area, then I just picked the one I felt most comfortable about, even though I couldn't tell you what felt comfortable about it!
