Looking for a ring and nothing at all seems to be in stock or available for delivery, is that because the jewellery counter is different from the rest of the stock, or does it mean there's none in the whole of the UK whatsoever?

It's because the rings will come in various sizes, and they are unable to identy these online.
If you phone customer service with the product code they will be able to tell you which stores (if any) have the ring in your size, using a different system.
They can also place a reservation for you to collect at store, just as it does online.0 -
