Hand held steamer

Hi i'm thinking of buying a hand held steamer can these be used and are they any good for cleaning curtains and nets thank you ?

From my own experience the hand held cleaners are good for the smaller jobs and for window cleaning. Curtains are often very large and the smaller steamers don't make the job easy. What the steamer cannot do is whiten nets. I'm afraid to say that only whiteners seem to do this job to my satisfaction.
I noticed on Amazon that they have steamers for as little as £14.99 if that helps. Good luck.0
