Staples BOGOF own brand inkjet cartridges

Hi,
Staples are advertising in the flyers they send with newspapers, own brand ink cartridges BOGOF.
I have used these (HP compatibles) in the past and they do work but often get blocked but I use a damp cotton wool bud to clean heads and that tends to sort the problem.

I have an Epson C84 printer and bought 8 of these cartridges. On using the first one, the ink came out of the back and the cartridge did not sit properly in its socket. I had to take the lot back and buy the proper Epson ones. Shame, 'cause the Staples brand are a lot cheaper.0
