There was a thread about these people previously. I have now sent them THREE letters and a request for a copy of the original signed agreement with the cheque advised. All I have recieved is threatening letters. The last letter I sent with the cheque was a month ago. They cashed the £1 cheque but I have not recieved anything since - no letter, no acknowledgement, no copy agreement. How long am I expected to leave this with them - I thought there was a time limit 12 working days for the stuff to come back to me, or at least a letter confirming I dont owe the money and it has been taken from my file. Its only for about £27.12 - why on earth would anyone "run" from that size of debt? I did also point that out to them in one of my earlier letters.
Any advise gratefully received.
Thanks, nana
