oberon i think i enjoyed being a dfw so much that i rushed out to get back into debt:rotfl: :rotfl:
miz no havnt been to the drs yet wil try and fit it in next week ...i am a busy woman you know lol ...
right i have been thinking (not a very good thing for me i know) i really need to cut my hours i have been working ridiculous hours now for the last 12 years and my health is really suffering ...so i have decided to try and save my wages from job no2 to see if i can go without it ...i waste an awful lot of money i really do and i need to stop this if i am to cut out one of my jobs...so starting from next month i am going to save all my wages from job no2 (the one that i have reduced hours on) and if i manage to do that between now and sep/oct i am gonna pack it in that should give me some money for savings and teach me a wee bit more control over my money i really need to gain control over my finanaces
let me know if you think it's a workable good idea0 -
Hey hunny,
I would slow down-no point in being dead with a few bob in the bank, lolEmpty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0 -
Since I have made the decision to cut back on the extra stuff that was exhausting me, I feel much better.
I am sure you can make up the money elsewhere, either by cutting back or doing extra games/matched betting stuff etc.
Plus you will feel better. Can't ask for much more than that really!!

You're right on the cutting down.... if you don't waste stuff, you don't need to earn so much, so you can do without the 2nd job! Simple logic see? [KC scratches her head..... I *think* it makes sense].2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Hiya Gorgeous.

You're absolutely right about cutting back. It's used to be a pound saved was a pound earned, but with tax at 20%, employee NI contribs at 10%, employers NI contribs at 10% and various other costs - a pound saved is £1.50 earned..."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)

Yup, see if there's a more relaxing way of making the money, if you find you can't go without it. No point adding a stress ulcer to your list of worries! This year I'm getting organised once and for all, and going to buy a house with my wonderful other half. And that' s final!
