can a cca request backfire?

Just wondered if a cca letter (or letters!) request turn your creditors nastier/decide to request a full settlement/start a ccj etc?
i'm sure its your right to request your agreement(s), didnt know if anyone had any thoughts..
As Sceptic Peg predicts, House prices this week will be going up!.............................or down.

Creditors can change their minds at anytime , even people on a DMP have been sent court summons . With the credit crunch I bet this will happen alot more .If you are paying something to a creditor , a Judge will note your effors to pay and is unlikely to increase payments . I see it as exercising your rights .
