These are the replys I got back:
"I am not of the view that the situation already described to you will change significantly but our admissions policy does evolve with time.
We aim to keep our entry requirements appropriate to prevailing circumstances within the world of education. Inevitably we react to situations, as they arise, which may impact on our admissions policy. We are currently keeping a very watchful eye on Access programmes as the performance on our degree programmes of students with this background is giving rise to some concern at present. I cannot guarantee, therefore, that there will be no change in respect of entry with Access qualifications for 2007 entry."
and
"The Open University courses are very good but they run out of synchronisation with the rest of the academic world. That may not be a problem for a 2007 start but I suggest you check with me for a view on what course would be acceptable."
So at the moment I am still unsure, thinking about trying to decide on something else.0
