I would use the mobile number from one of the previous free sims.

The mobile (or landline) field is mandatory, but just change a digit or two if you dont want needless calls on this offer or any other. I never give my ex directory or mobile number out : they are also registered on the telephone preference service to prevent cold callers. Seems to work!
Thanks for the O2 card tip, my daughter is being bullied via mobile by a former friend and we will change her number.
