25 year mortgage

Hi - We quite like the idea of a long fixed term mortgage, we would know exactly where we are every month until the house is paid off with no surprises or looking around or special rates finishing etc. and aren't really that concerned about the rates just our finances.

We are currently on an interest only for 80k at 319.00 a month but really need to look into paying some of the house off as due to house refurbishments, starting a family etc. we didn't take out an endowment so have had cheap living really. Time to get it together otherwise we will be paying a mortgage when we are retired!

Where can I find out about 25year mortagages? What is the best deal out there for such a thing - need one for either 80k or 100k depends if we borrow for an extension. Thanks Claire

Thanks - seems to be quite good - a rate of 4.99% for either 15, 20 or 25yrs. Is there any better out there though?????
