There are two Ciao survey companies.
This one is ok, they pay you quite well. I've had loads of cheques from them over the few years I've been with them.

This one sucks. They only offer you on average 10p per survey and 99% of the time you "don't qualify". I've got 19p with them and have to wait until I get £5.00
they are both the same site aren't they??

Just received an email from Ciao (the good one) saying they're updating their website. Looks like they're joining up with the other Ciao (the cr*p one)

    Dear Member,

We are delighted to announce that we have decided to improve our paid surveys service by forming a dedicated subsidiary, Ciao Surveys GmbH. You will receive an upgraded account on the new Ciao Surveys website and have access to exciting benefits and features. You can look forward to:
    - paid surveys that you can access right from your member page
    - a greater selection of paid surveys
    - a wider range of reward options
    - and more!

Over the coming weeks, you may notice some changes on your Ciao member pages while your survey profile and earnings are being transferred to the new Ciao Surveys website. As soon as everything's ready, you’ll receive an e-mail from Ciao Surveys with details for logging into your new Ciao Surveys account.

At the same time, you'll be able to continue using the Ciao Shopping website and participating in the community as before. Take part in our multi-million-strong online community that critically reviews and rates over 3.4 million of products and services for the benefit of other consumers - i.e. with product tests, video reviews or your personal product lists. By the way, have you already tried to earn money by writing reviews?

If you would like to learn more about these new developments, we invite you to visit the special FAQ’s page that we've set up:
    http://www.ciao.co.uk/faq.php/Id/2/Idx/5/Idy/2

We hope that you'll enjoy the upcoming improvements.

    Warm regards,

    Your Ciao Team

I got that email too Vamp but didn't think anything of it. How do you think we will, if at all, be affected by the new affiliation?

Have been a member of ciao for yonks but only started actually doing the surveys last spring and find it relatively easy to deal with and to build up money. I wouldn't discount them so quickly Diane.
