I get worse, me....

OK,

After last weekend of me badgering DH to hand over his £2 coin for the cause, I now know that alcohol and MFW fever don't mix.

Basically we went away for a night (gift voucher paid for the hotel). We got to our restaurant of choice, a fab Cuban place, and DH gets a £2 coin in his change. Now, I was a few large G&T's on an empty stomach at this point so I start going on about how I want that £2 coin and he must not spend it. The barman asks why and I find myself telling him I'm saving them to pay off our mortgage and does he know that I'm paying 85p per hour in interest alone, goddamnit?

I really need to shut up sometimes, the look he gave me was like yeahright, get the drunken woman away from me...

Cheers,

DH grumbles about it sometimes (the mortgage overpayment) but he'll be so happy when it's gone and we can do whatever we want to do!

I bet that barman is right now phoning his mortgage provider to see how much interest he's paying per hour and will shortly be 'borrowing' that huge empty whiskey bottle from behind the bar to store his tip money! :)
