First CCJ and extremely worried

So i move away from Nottingham and after returning this weekend for the first time for a while I find a CCJ waiting to be collected from my post forwarding address. Apparently I didn't pay my last council tax bill and during the 5 month interim I was taken to court and lost. Therefore I now have a CCJ. Apparently you can have this removed from your credit history if you pay the ooutstanding amount within one month of the judgement, unfortunately i'm a week out of that time limit. This is the first time this has ever happened to me and it was a complete oversight between moving from nottingham to london. Is there anyway of having this removed from my credit score after the month time limit? I'm planning on buying in the next few years and I don't want this accident to screw up my chances. I've always paid on time in the past and my credit score - as of today - has not changed, even though the CCj was judged on the 13th March. Any advice welcomed!!!

Do you intend to settle it in full? If so you can ask the court for a certificate of satisfaction that costs an extra tenner. The ccj will then be on your credit file as satisfied. Not sure if you can get it removed though.0

can you still apply for this even a couple of months after the judgement? also, will this affect my creditscore? I don't know how experian work but as I said the judgement was passed on the 13th Marchand my credit rating as of today hasn't changed from its 956 score. your help is appreciated.0

Are you sure that you are liable for the amount claimed? It is possible to have a Judgement set aside but only if you have a reasonable chance of defending the claim ie if you can dispute liability. If you do this you need form N244 from the Court. Obviously there are cost implications.0
