I wanna buy microsoft word/office

where is the cheapest place to buy it?

Comments

  • As a (free) alternative try http:///www.openoffice.org .

If you have a student or teacher in your household you can get it much cheaper.

If you use it at work, you may be able to have it at home too, depending on the agreement your employer has with Microsoft.

yep - just the ticket! I have 2 school age children and we have purchased the prof version of Office 2007 for a great price using a student licence. It loads quite happily onto 3 computers too. We searched around and the cheapest at the time was a reputable seller on ebay. (becareful that VAT is added - can be misleading on ebay) Not sure at the moment as that was a few months ago. Don't forget to see if you can go via a cashback site too.

Just download open office, it's just as good in every aspect!

    Enjoy! ^

Sellers that offer this option actually just ask you to confirm that you/member of your family are in full/part-time education, usually by ticking a disclaimer box when ordering.
