    Morning All.

Piddling it down here this morning. I suppose at least it's good for the veggies. Just made American pancakes and berries for brekkie. The first three stuck like glue to the pan  . I think my pan may have lost it's non-stickability after I accidently left it on the burner till it was smoking last week:o .
I stuck a bit of butter in the pan and the rest turned out ok.

Need to tackle the ironing today and the rest of my list from yesterday.

ZCC72 - well done, you. That deserves a pat on the back and can I have some of your energy

Positivelypurple - welcome to the madhouse!

Soappie - can I get one of them? I suppose it'd be a bit greasy by the time it arrived, so I'll stick with the toast DH made me.

On the subject of which, his climbing has been cancelled due to adverse weather conditions so he's going to sit at the dining table planning an expedition??? while I go and do painting. Methinks I'll end up doing the ironing later as well, but he usually does the roastie dinner if he's home so that'll be nice.

    Back later!

    Morning everyone.

:rotfl: :rotfl: wonder if pigpen has a sore head today.

Im just thinking what needs doing today as Im at work Monday and Tuesday. 12 hour shifts dont leave a lot of time for flying. Did a bit of tidying yesterday as I treat myself to a couple of lovely hand carved Buddhas. So needed to make space for them. My treat from all the overtime Ive done. Rest goes off the credit card.

    Living Room
    Hoover and dust and tidy.

    Main bedroom
    Hoover and dust.

    HHI

Then hopefully chill and maybe read my new book. Raining here wonder what happened to the lovely weekend we were promised.

I'm new to the thread - tried Flylady before but it drove me half mad with all the emails. Willing to give it another go on here as it's not as manic

Erm nope think you have the wrong thread, this place IS MANIC!!!! Which is why we love it so ;)

    Welcome and enjoy the ride.

Just checked the lotto numbers and from 5 lines for the work syndicate we didn't get one number, not 1

But from out 2 lines that I put on with 4 mins to go last night A, W and I got 4 numbers :T:T:T first time ever I have had more than 3 numbers. We won a whole £98!

    Morning all,

well we are back after a manic few days. Collect the keys for the new house on Thursday quickly had a look round and thought what the f*** have we done - its been decorated very flowery and not at all our tastes, there is additional homemade wood shelving in every room and the house generally needs some TLC. After our quick visist it was off to Aberdeen for a wedding on Friday, wedding was fab a good family knees up late night a way too much G&T. Then yesterday back dwon to new house and we started ripping out all the bits we didint like - great hangover cure ripping out borders taking down curtain rails and removing all these shelves.

Any way I am back to usual house today and it seriously needs some attention, I have to sort out the spare room as FIL is coming to stay for a few days - he has just had a knee replacement op and rather than go home alone we have offered him a bed here unitl hes a bit more mobile again.

    Todays list -
    Spare Room
    [STRIKE]
    declutter bed
packed boxes take to new house
    [/STRIKE]
    sweep floor
    make up bed
    find a bed side light

    Kitchen
    [STRIKE]
    sweep & clean floor
    wipe down work surfaces
clean out fridge (something smells even though it was only cleaned on Monday!!!)
    [/STRIKE]
    Living room
    [STRIKE]
    declutter
    polish
    hoover
    put clean washing away
    [/STRIKE]

    Dining room
    [STRIKE]
    declutter
    unpack over night bags
    [/STRIKE]
    clear ironing pile

    Others
    [STRIKE]
girls to do extra homework for missing school Friday
    collect dog from sitter
    strip our bed
    strip girls beds
    [/STRIKE]
    remake beds

Think thats it for now, if I have time later and I can work out how to do I will try and post some pictures of the house just to share the flowers around.

Hope all well here not had a chance yet to catch up need to get some flying done first.

Right off for a HHC and will then need to go out to collect the dog.

One load of washing hanging out, the forecast was rain but it's warm and sunny....

Roast dinner cooking and that's about it I think.
