The two re-mortgage deals I went to look at were the Co-op members only 2 year fixed rate deal and the First Direct one, but both have now been withdrawn, but both looked good. Does anyone know when FD is going to start accepting applications again as I think that might be worht considering when it comes back on?0

The Woolwich deal says - "tracks 0.74% above Barclays Bank Base Rate for its entire term."
This would concern me as it is not the same as the BOE base rate!
It also has a max LTV of 60%, which is very low and too low for me, I need 80%.0 -
If you have good LTV (<= 70%) then northern bank got a life tracker (0.59 above ) with no fee if you choose one of their choice bank account(cost 10.00/month). Same as woolwich this tracks northern bank base rate(which is same as BoE base rate for the past 2 years and according to their staff it is always the same as BoE). If you don't choose one of their current account then you pay a fee (£799.00 ?)
They will refund you £300 for legal and £175 for valuation.0 -
