You've got no chance unless you're flying by yourself and don't intend coming back !!!!

I've managed to find a couple of 1p flights ( outbound only, you still have to pay normal price for the return flight ), but when I change the number of travellers to 2, the price goes back to normal.

Checked the flight for 2 people, which we can get on days that suit us. However, the Tax for the flights came to more than the cost of the flight! For a few pounds more we can get a s/c holiday!

This will be great if you have your own property and don't need to worry about where you are going to stay when you are there. Someone will get a cracking good deal from this. :-)

bit of a damp squib, this one. Almost impossible to find the cheap flights you mention and, if you are extremely lucky and find one, then add tax and it ain't that cheap at all.

Is it only the 1p flights you dont pay tax & charges on. Havent managed to find any @ 1p but the 2.99 I have checked added tax.

£19.98 fully incl Bournemouth - Paris return isn't a damp squib !!! I couldn't even drive to Southampton (26miles) and back for that. Just what do some people expect !!!!!

That's a great deal, but i think what people are saying is that considering the tens of thousands of seats available, there's not much room for manoever on the offers. If you want a specific flight on a specific date at a specific airport, then you need to be very lucky to get it.
If you've got an empty diary and can do anything you like, then you can find a good deal. But that offer wouldn't be good for most people.
