hi,

I am thinking about applying for a loan with AA Loans, as their rates appear to be very good. I have not be able to find any reviews about them, has anyone had any previous experience with them?

Thanks!

I have had a loan with them before. It was a few years ago and they sent the paperwork out promptly and their rate was very competitive. I borrowed the money to buy a car when I was on a fairly low income.

The thing I like is that they hardly bother you with top-ups etc until the last few months of your loan. I had a loan with Barclays once and they used to always offer me top ups etc. Very annoying in the end.

Like I say, it was a few years ago and someone with a more recent experience may be able to help you.

Started DMP in Oct 2009, went wrong. Due to start new DMP in March/April 2013. Bring it on!

I got £6k at 6% fixed or 5 years last year which I stoozed via dripfeed into regular savers together with the matching AA CC with £6k credit for 6 months on 0% also stoozed via Egg Money (wife non-earner). No problems with them at all. After 1 year they recently offered a 7.4% repeat but marginal savings at this level so gone back to other cards where my credit appears to be miraculously restored after a thin time with several rejections for no apparent reason.
