Anyone who is looking for their games cheap, it seems the best place is PowerPlaydirect.com. While their prices seem to be the cheapest in any case, they also have a refer a friend program that gives the refered person a 50p off voucher and the referer a 50p voucher once they've bought.
As the vouchers can be sent to an e-mail adress, you should be able to send it to other memebers of your family to double up. e.g. I sent one to my wife, got a 50p voucher, then will get one on my account when 'she' buys.
The below prices are inc. P&P
Darkstalkers Chronicle £23.99 (23.49 with voucher)
Wipeout Pure £24.49 (23.99 with voucher)
Ridge Racer £24.49 (23.99 with voucher)
Colin McRae 2005 £24.49 (23.99 with voucher)
Everybody's Golf £24.99 (24.49 with voucher)
Medievil Resurrection £24.99 (24.49 with voucher)
Dynasty Warriors £24.99 (24.49 with voucher)
TOCA Race Driver 2 £25.49 (24.99 with voucher)
Coded Arms £25.49 (24.99 with voucher)

According to my friend who works for Sony, only the UMD movies are region coded - the games work anywhere. https://www.dvdboxoffice.com is a Canadian company who have free international shipping. You mightg also want to try https://www.dvdsoon.com and even https://www.liksang.com - if the pound is strong, they quote games like lumines in the national press being under £20'Imagine something inspiring that somebody once said to you and go out there and win!'0

Agree that it is good to be able to use games from other regions, and it will likely be cheaper but you do have to bear in mind the sell-on/trade-in value when you get rid of the games.
This is likely to negate any savings and in the case of trading in, you won't be able to if you don't have a UK game. This only really leaves ebay or the car boot sale which is quite restrictive. Ebay is obviously the best place, but from experience (e.g. GBA games), UK games will usually allways get about 25-50% more than US/Asian ones.
So if you aren't looking to keep your games for years, I would suggest to stick with UK games.
However, if you are planning to build up your collection and not sell/swap then it could be the way to go.0 -
Can I just say to avoid www.dvdsoon.com as loads and loads of people are doing due to the way they have failed to delived goods for the past 2 to 3 months and refusing to give refunds, instead applying "store credit" where only 25% of this can be used at one time on any future purchases.
As so many people are in this situation and are doing chargebacks via their credit cards to reclaim money owed (some in excess of £3000) there's a chance DVDSoon may go bump.
Order from them at your peril.Never argue with an idiot. He will bring you down to his level and beat you with experience.

A psp forum would be cool, seen as its the hot gadget of the now.
I am interested in buying or checking out all available accessories for the psp and need to know the best places to look and find them, also where the cheapest games are and also any good forums on the psp.
Also i am heading off to usa on friday and wanted to know if i buy games to take home with me do they play in the uk machine? Is it just the movies that dont work in the uk?
Let me know as i plan to get some when over there and is they a down side to buying a us game compared to a uk one.
I know there should be a difference in prices.Treat everyday as your last one on earth! and one day you will be right.0 -

Just checked a couple of these on https://www.powerplaydirect.com- Wipeout Pure - £31.99 delivered, TOCA Race Driver 2 - £35.99 delivered, DarkStalkers £35.99 delivered? Maybe they just had a sale on thats over?
if you use https://www.find-games.co.uk it searches through all uk online retailers, including powerplaydirect for your chosen game and ranks them cheapest first including postage.... also https://www.find-cd.co.uk and https://www.find-dvd.co.uk0 -
RIKKI - I recomend these games for 10 & 12 yr olds:
Gripshift (racing/puzzle game + minigames & its only £19.99)
Archer Maclean's Mercury (tilt maze things to steer blobs of mercury to a target)
Burnout Legends or Wipeout (good racing games - don't get it if your kids have these games on a TV console as they're almost identical)
Star Wars Battlefront II (shooting & flying in Star Wars universe)
avoid games based on Films or Sports - they're usually bad.0
