What is the one debt your are more proud of yourself for paying off?
Mine is NPower. When we (DH and I) lived in our last address, it was our first place together. It was all electric. I had no idea how much utility bills cost, because I'm from another country and I came from living with my mom who paid all the bills. Anyway. We weren't paying enough the entire time we lived there (1 year 3 months) and owed them £542.50. I paid £100 off and managed to avoid it for a year (naughty of me I know) until they sent me a reminder that I had to pay. I knew I wouldn't outrun them for long, so I ponied up and started paying. I'm paying £100 per month off and right now I have £243.50 left. This will be paid off in June. :money: I can't wait to free up £100 every month.

Mine is my Capital One card - it is the highest interest out of all my cards (30.3% APR) and it will be paid off within a week. I have been paying this off for ages and I am sooo proud that I have less than 400.00 left on it - yeay us! x xPay Debt by Xmas 16 - 0/12000

My overdraft!! although it was "only" £2,000 of my total debt, I had been using it for more years than I care to mention & at £25 odd a month it was costing me loads.Comping again - wins so far : 2 V festival tix, 2 NFL tix, 6 bottles of wine, personalised hand soap, Aussie miracle conditioner

Is it cheating to have two??? They are the same sort of debt.
Mine will be my credit card debt, when I clear them that will really be the end of a phase as I was so ridiculously reliant on them pre DFW days. I have just cleared one and hope to clear the other in the next 6 months.£34,547 (Dec 07); Current debt: £zilch (Debt free December 2010)

Likewise with us,the one debt we are proud of clearing was our Abbey overdraft @16.9%. It was only £400 but we know for sure that we will never have to dip into it. Also proud that we aren't spending more than we earn anymore, which means our debts can only go down!!well dont know if this counts, but we havent paid off our credit card, or any other debt for that matter, but we have actually STOPPED spending on our credit card and havent spent a penny on there in about 5 months!! am soooo chuffed with us !!Debt at LBM(July 1st 07)-£35,053.92 Debt on 1st Anniversary of LBM(July 1st 08)-£33,170.11 (31st January 09)-£32,318.73Paid off so far £2,735.19(7.8%) Average paid off p.m. £143.95 L/H supporter 115 DFD target February 2018 DFD March 2028.
