how many square feet are there in a room of 20 square yards,
need to know putting down laminated flooring cant work it out.

a square yard is 3ft x 3ft = 9square feet.
so 20square yards is 20 x 9 = 180 square feet.
I'm not old enough to have been taught imperial but I'm fairly sure that numbers are right.
