Is It Posible To Stall A Debt Agency? (Moorcroft)

Hello folks
I need some advice please to stall Moorcroft Debt Agency.
I'm on a DMP with Payplan, I'm in the process of applying for an IVA, with CCCS (Sent all documents last week).
Today, I have received 2 letters from Moorcroft, (1 for my Credit Card a/c, and 1 for my Current a/c Nationwide Building Society for both) both letters are stating “Notice of Intended Litigation” and are asking my to reply before 23rd April 2008.
I've read numerous threads on here regarding Moorcroift, and they don't seem to be the most helpful debt agency, therefore, I'm reluctant to call them.
As my IVA is in the early stages, I'm wondering if I can stall Moorcroft by asking them to supply my credit agreement and a full breakdown of the account including any interest or charges applied, for both accounts, or should I call them, and inform them I'm on a DMP?
I'd rather them not obtain a CCJ, or charging order before my IVA is set in place.
Any advice please?

OK, I'm thinking of sending them this letter, is there anything I need to add / remove from the letter before I send it?Broken_hearted wrote: »Tell them you are seking proffesion help with sorting out your finances but unfortunatly they need XYZ and could they kindly supply them. With reference to your letter dated XXXX, received XXXX,
I am in the process of seeking proffesional help with sorting out my finances, however, my DMP manager requires thew following information.
I would be grateful if you would send me a copy of this credit agreement and a full breakdown of the account including any interest or charges applied.
I understand that under the Consumer Credit Act 1974 [sections 77-79], I am entitled to receive a copy of any credit agreement and a statement of account on request.
I enclose a payment of £1 which represents the fee payable under the Consumer Credit Act 1974.
I understand a copy of any credit agreement along with a statement of account should be supplied within 12 working days.
I understand that under the Consumer Credit Act 1974 creditors are unable to enforce an agreement if they fail to comply with the request for a copy of the agreement and statement of account under these sections of the Act.
I look forward to hearing from you.
