Got one for a mate - he's well pleased with it. I can't remember, but are there any transport screws you need to take out first? If not then it's faulty - which unfortunately means taking it back for a refund as Aldi are unlikely to have any left to replace it.
  • Does the radio work?? or is that not working either??

This may be a given but, check if your vehicle ignition needs to be switched on first.
I installed both mine and my sisters.

She had similar problem, but it just meant player only works when engine is on or keys turned to ON in ignition.

Also make sure both screws with red tags have been removed.

If no joy, just take it back for refund/replacement.

    Good Luck! Hope this helps

Is Aldi still doing these? Would be great if they did. ;)
The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

you can get adapters at halfords to fit between the two different connections, take it in and ask them which one is the right fit. they'll be around £10 i think.

As what tr3mor said, you will require an Vauxhall Agila connector to a standard ISO connector.

a year or two ago i wanted to change my standard radio in my car and couldnt as it needed a special adapter the dealers wanted to charge me £149 plus V.A.T to do this .......... I soon found that it was a special adapter and they had them in stock at the dealers..... I enquired as to cost £1.92 plus V.A.T needless to say i jumped in car went to dealers paid around £2.30 and replaced my radio in minutes with a CD radio player all works great now apart from steering column doggle.... But hey I can use my hands to reach a button on the front of player as i always did b4 but saved over £170 in the process.
P.s these adapters are widley available now at most electrical component suppliers for most makes and models of cars/steroes
    £2.00 savings club =£2.00

Did you use an ISO connector for your specific vehicle?
If not, I suggest buying one (sometimes wiring is a bit funny for power to CD).
    Try halfords usually about £12.

If yes, try flipping down the unit and pressing the eject button (blue triangle on right). if still no joy close the unit, leave radio on then use a nail/pin to push the tiny reset button (you will find this small hole above the AMS/MP3 and MOD/7 buttons).

This should reset the whole unit - if still no joy I strongly recommend you contact ALDI.

    Good Luck
