Valuation Question

Ok thank you Andy. It is our first place so really anxious. It will be a week on Monday since GE took the valuation fee...so we should be aiming at another 2 weeks...ish?

Again 'depends', e.g. if there's a chain involved or not.
Presuming there isn't, yeah two weeks quite possibly. Have you got a solicitor's lined up and working on the case already?
Understandble that you're anxious, buying a place for the first time can be a bit stressy but it's worth it when you get the keys!

I am really hoping it will all be ok. Yeah we have a solicitor...we have paid him some initial money to do searches?

The property is vacant and as I say we are first time buyers so in theory should be fast?

Yep should be swift, just make sure anything the solicitor requires you to sign and get back to them is done promptly. Don't be afraid to ring either the solicitor or broker for an update each day. You're paying them for the service. Best of luck with it all.

Would there be much more paperwork from the solicitor? Sorry I keep asking lots a questions...just not sure what happens.

Yeah you should get a fair few forms etc. If you have any queries about them pick up the phon to the sols.
