I've just got back from the Birstall store, and although there were quite a few people queueing at 6am, there was no trouble, we all walked lemming-like toward the cliff! Queues inside were mainly around the order points, people ordering kitchens etc I guess, but I actually found it less stressful than usual. I'm sure that this might be different in the next few hours!

Oh, and the freebie breakfast wasn't too bad either!

Not sure why this counts as a shop but don't drop thread, especially as there's already an Ikea thread in the grabbit board.............

Just got back from Cardiff - was really quite civilised, except we couldn't get my housemate's new bed into the van, so he had to queue up for 1h52mins to arrange delivery!

I'm plucking up the courage to make the trip to Ikea Cardiff. I only need small items - plant pots, Komplement storage gubbins, a few other odds & ends - so hopefully I won't find huge queues, and then no stock... I'll report back later if I have any useful information.
