When can I call myself debt free?

OK. So I'm a debt-free wannabe. But when can I call myself debt-free?
Is it when the value of my assets exceeds my liabilities?
Or when I'm not paying any loans anymore?
Or when I don't have any debts (including a mortgage)?
I'm either debt-free now (or very close).
Or debt-free in 4 or so years (that includes SLC student loans).
Or debt-free in 34  years.
(respectively)
Personally, I would say the second option. What's the general concensus on here?
