Fixed Term Question

If i get a fixed term, what happens if i decide to move house, do i forfeit the fixed term or would i just borrow some extra money(providing i was buying a bigger place) and keep the fixed term. sorry if this sounds stupid or has been asked before

Like Chris Tarrant says, "they're only easy when you know the answer"!
Most fixed these days are portable so you can take it with you when you move house - just check it is before you sign up.
The extra borrowing you'll need probably will be at a different rate than your fixed, depends what interest rates do between when you fix and when you move.0
