i have just opened the best letter.....

ok well maybe not the best letter as that would go something like "dear mrs xxxx, you have won a million pound!" that would be good!!!
but anyway this is nearly as good.....

from HSBC

dear mrs xxxxx

our records indicate you are entitled to an interest and ppi rebate.

i write to advice you that your current account has been credited with £xxxxx

this has come completly out of the blue never even sent them a letter querying the loan or anything. how weird is that?

all i can say is thank you HSBC!! :A now that has cleared 2 of my debts, one being hsbc o/d!! just gonna go change my sig !!!:T

    hI , very strange ! Might I suggest you cancel you overdraft agreement now !
  • ggrrrrr would cancel o/d if HSBC hadn't just added a £25 charge for being over o/d!!now there is the old hsbc i know and hate!! and i have just bloody paid c/c so now i will have to magic up the £25 from else where and then close the o/d. but will then write a lovely letter to try and get back charges! only £50 but still worth it!!

    Had something similar from lloyds-TSB - no refund just advice on cancelling PPI and how they repay it. Sounds`like the banks are reacting to claims of miss-selling PPI.
