• Hello, i have just signed up to Qype today and i was wondering how it works?
I have found a list of places to review in my area and i have found the section that says review. Do i have to be invited by Qype to review somewhere or if i have been to that place, do i click on it and just write the review? What happens then? Do Qype know i have reviewed it and do they give me points etc? What is the reward for doing Qype and how often do i get the reward, do you have to earn so many points etc?

Sorry for all the questions, i want to make a real go so that i can earn some money.

You can review any places you have been to around the country. Just type in the name and place and add your review. Qype automatically add the points to your account. If a place is not yet listed you are given the option of adding it.

There are no rewards for doing this at the current time, as all offers are finished but new offers will hopefully be announced in the new year.
A waist is a terrible thing to mind.

Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere(please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. If you have any questions about this policy please email abuse@moneysavingexpert.com.

Thanks

• I'm not sure I can be of much help as I am fairly new to Qype myself. I can tell you the points are added automatically as you add your reviews. As to what you do with your points, I just don't know.

They did have a promotional offer on where you had to accumulate 1000 points to earn some goodies, but that offer has now been withdrawn/finished and we are waiting to hear what the next offer is.

I honestly don't know if your points are worth anything in terms of cash or other rewards unless they are accumulated as part of a promotion. Perhaps someone more knowledgeable than me can help there.

Got my voucher a few days ago too, and the emails saying they were sending out the stuff!

Did you mean them sending the freebies? All I got was a message saying they are taking a while sending out as there are so many people and to be patient, ps no Frisbee and mug
No you're not a vegetarian if you eat any animal or fish, so do not insult genuine veggies by calling yourself one!

Thanks to everyone who posts competitions. You are the stars of the board :T:j:T
• Ahh thank you for replying, lets hope we can find out soon what the reward will be!
